NEVER ENOUGH - A circus story about balance NEVER ENOUGH is a circus theatre piece about balance. In their new play, Esther and Jonas Slanzi explore the pursuit of more and ask: when is enough enough? They shed light on greed, the pressure to perform and the need for recognition. The archetypal form of artistry, balance and playing with gravity, form the narrative concept. Using wooden sticks, strings, rollers and red nets, a poetic acrobatic performance is created in which stability and movement are explored anew. The materials are transformed into fragile balances, airy playing surfaces or floating objects. At the same time, the duo performs a wordless interplay full of tension and lightness. The piece does not provide an answer to the question of when it is "enough", but instead invites you to create your own interpretations and moments of wonder.
Idea/play: Esther and Jonas Slanzi Composition/live music: Heidi Happy Direction: Nina Pigné and Antoine Zivelonghi Costume: Olivia Grandy Technical direction: Stefan Falk
